about wondermash
Wondermash is a space for co-created future scenario’s collected, curated and co-created by Marjolein Pijnappels, the first Dutch futures ecologist.
She utilizes the power of imagination in visionary lectures and workshops. Through her guidance, organizations discover how to align their business goals with a flourishing world that accommodates humans, technology, plants, and animals.Marjolein is a certified facilitator and a Next Nature fellow. Her methodology, Futures Ecologies, is included in the National Guide to Future Thinking published by the Chief Government Architect.With twenty years of experience in ecology, research, design, and consultancy, Marjolein holds a Master's degree in marine ecology. She has facilitated knowledge transfer for large-scale climate adaptation projects as a climate researcher at Wageningen University & Research. For twelve years, she led her team on hundreds of projects at the design agency Lakmoes. Currently, Marjolein combines insights from ecology, technology, and design in her work as a futures ecologist.
